Two Injured in Spanish Town Motor Vehicle Accident

St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Spanish Town police have reported that two persons were injured and rushed to hospital, after a mini bus in which they were traveling fell through a section of the roadway along Spanish Town road on Thursday afternoon, April 5.

It is understood that shortly after 12:00 noon on Thursday, the driver of the mini bus and the other injured passenger were traveling along a section of the Spanish Town main road.

On reaching a section of Toyota Jamaica, a large section of the roadway capsized and the vehicle fell through the roadway.  The vehicle sustained damages while the driver and the passenger also received injuries and were rushed to hospital.

It is also understood that, the Fire department was alerted and assisted in pulling the bus from the large crater in the middle of the roadway.
