Montego Bay, St.James (McKoy’s News)Jack Aubin McBean’s Son Ticka Stabbed Dead in Bogue: A popular Montego Bay man is dead following a stabbing incident at a busy Montego Bay, St James supermarket on Tuesday.

Police report that a man was stabbed to death outside the Bogue Village Supermarket in Montego Bay, St James on Tuesday afternoon.

The victim’s name has been given so far only as Junior McBean, known as “Ticka,” of a Bogue Boulevard address, who is also the son of popular deceased Montego Bay strongman Jack Aubin McBean.

Reports are that about 12:20 p.m., on Tuesday McBean who frequents the Bogue Village area was standing outside the Bogue Village Supermarket when he was approached by an alleged well-known Cocaine addict, an argument developed between both men and the accused use a knife to stab McBean in the upper regions of his body.

The victim collapsed and died on the spot while residents in the area reportedly chased and beat the accused.

The Freeport police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene was processed and the body of the victim transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
