Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Soldier Smuggling Cocaine Caught: A member of the Jamaica Defense Force, the JDF was arrested yesterday by Detectives of the Narcotics Divisions.
He was held at the Norman Manley International Airport after the police found six pounds of cocaine valued at 3.3 Million Jamaican Dollars.
According to police reports, just before 5 PM, the soldier checked in on a flight destined for Toronto, Canada when detectives were alerted to his suitcase which was checked in his presence.
Cocaine was found in that suitcase and upon further examination, cups containing cocaine were also found.
The soldier is scheduled to appear in Court on Wednesday.
