Jamaica News: Fifty-year-old Owen Sharpe, otherwise called “Skeng” labourer of Logics Green district in Clarendon, has been arrested and charged in connection with the September 27, murder of a man in his community.
Reports by the Clarendon police are that about midday, on Friday, September 27., Sharpe reportedly attacked the deceased with a machete, and chopped him multiple times.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was rushed to hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.
The wounded victim died hours after being admitted in hospital, and Sharpe was taken into custody in connection with the killing.
He was arrested and charged on the weekend, and is booked to appear in court later this week.
