Jamaica Crime News, St Thomas: The skeletal remains of a human being were discovered in bushes, behind a sand quarry in Cottage Pen, Morant Bay, St Thomas on Wednesday evening, September 12.
The Morant Bay Police have reported that about 3:50 p.m., a resident of the community stumbled upon the skeletal remains, and raised an alarm.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the remains were seen in a cluster of bushes, immediately behind the sand quarry.

The scene was processed and the skeletal remains later removed from the location.
The police say they are unable to determine if the victim was a male or female.
