Jamaica News, St Catherine: Six passengers who were traveling in a Toyota Coaster bus, were treated at hospital for injuries they sustained, in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Spanish Town main road, in St Catherine on Tuesday afternoon.
Reports by the Spanish Town police are that shortly after 3:30 p.m., the Toyota Coaster bus which was laden with passengers, was traveling along the Spanish Town Road, in the directions of Three Miles.
On reaching a section of the roadway, the driver collided with a van which was crossing the dual carriageway.
The impact of the crash resulted in the van overturning and the coaster bus crashing into the rail.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and the Fire Department had to be called in to assist in removing victims from the wreckage and cleaning of the road surface.
