Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James, say they have now made a breakthrough, into the identity of a prostitute, who was stabbed to death in downtown Montego Bay, on Tuesday night, October 9.

The deceased identity has been given as 39-year-old Simone Gayle, otherwise called ” Bumpa” of a Mount Salem address.

Reports by the Barnett Street police are that about 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Gayle was attacked by a group of angry prostitutes, who accused her of operating at their location and trying to steal their customers.

An argument developed and Gayle was chased, and cornered along Harbor Street, in the vicinity of the Harbor Street Craft Market and the Shoe market, where she was stabbed multiple times to death.
