Shotta Biggs Killed in Kingston, Illegal Firearm Found at Murder Scene

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: Thirty-two-year-old Jermaine Chambers, otherwise called “Shotta Biggs”, a bar operator of Maxfield Avenue, was shot and killed by unknown assailants along Alexandria main road, in Kingston 13, on Wednesday morning.

An illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition, was later discovered at the scene.

Reports by the Hunts Bay police are that about 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, residents heard loud explosions coming from the directions of the Alexandria main road, and summoned the police.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, Chambers was discovered lying along the roadway, in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

While processing the scene, the Investigators discovered a Thunder Bersar 9mm pistol, fitted with a magazine containing eight live 9mm rounds.
