St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Shots Fired at the KFC in downtown Montego Bay last night caused curious concerns about the happenings of what was believed to be gunmen attacking the popular food hub. Mckoy’s News reporters has uncovered that the source of the gunfire was the police, allegedly firing shots in the air.

According to an eyewitness at the Montego Bay Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) site, the police were allegedly seen firing shots in the air during a fierce brawl between teen students on Friday, February 23.

Mckoy’s News understands that shortly before 9: p.m., on Friday, a brawl broke out between two group of teenagers on the compound of the downtown Montego Bay KFC. The police were summoned after the facility found it impossible to control the incident.

An eyewitness confirmed with Mckoy’s News that the shots were not by gunmen invading the fast food franchise, but the police who also could not quell the teenagers, allegedly fired several shots in the air to disperse the mob like scene.
