Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine: Shotgun Seized – The Spanish Town Police seized one shotgun and five 12-gauge cartridges, during an operation carried out in Gordon Pen, Spanish Town, on Saturday, August 10.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the police are that about 9:30 p.m., a team of officers carried out an operation at a section of Gordon Pen in Spanish Town. The officers carried out a search of an abandoned building and found a black plastic bag hidden in the building.
As a result, the bag was searched and found to contain a shotgun and five 12-gauge cartridges. The weapon and the ammunition were removed from the scene to the Spanish Town Police station.
