Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: The St Catherine North Police are currently investigating the murder of an elderly man in Banbury, Linstead on Tuesday night, December 18.
The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Lascelles Pecco, a shopkeeper of Linstead, St Catherine.
Reports from the Linstead police are that about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a team was called to the area of a community known as Lemon Ridge. Upon their arrival, Pecco was seen covered in blood with injuries consistent with a beating.
Pecco was transported to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
