Shoemaker Murdered in Clarendon, Female Shot and Injured

Jamaica Crime News, Clarendon: Shoemaker Murdered A shoemaker was fatally shot, and a female shot and injured by a gunman at their home in Simon district, Rock River in Clarendon on Saturday, September 15.

The deceased has been identified as Morrice Fergurson,  20-year-old shoemaker of Tread Light district also in Clarendon.

Reports by the police are that about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday,  Ferguson and the female were at a house in Rock River,  Clarendon when a man armed with a gun kicked open the door to the house and opened fire hitting both occupants. The gunman then made his escape on foot in the area.

The May Pen police were summoned and upon arrival, both victims were transported to the May Pen hospital, where Ferguson was pronounced dead and the female admitted in serious condition.
