Twenty-eight-year-oldJamar Henriques, otherwise called ‘Shenko’, a mason of Mint Road, Grange Hill, Westmoreland was charged for Murder following an incident on Mint Road, Grange Hill, Westmoreland on Monday, June 6.
Reports from the Grange Hill Police are that about 4:00 p.m., Henriques and the deseased- Hover Jolly, were at a premises when an argument developed between them. Jolly who had a machete was disarmed by Henriques who used the said machete to inflict several wounds to his upper body. The police were alerted and on their arrival, Jolly was found lying on his back in a pool of blood. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Henriques subsequently turned in himself in to the Police where he was charged on Wednesday, June 8.
His court date is not yet finalised.
