Seven Murders Reported in Jamaica Last Night, Hermitage and Linstead

St Andrew, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – The Jamaican Government may need a state of emergency for entire Island. This news is still developing, but Mckoy’s News understands that there were seven murders across the island from Friday night into Saturday morning.
Friday night, January 26, 2018, into Saturday morning residents in the Hermitage area of St Andrew began reporting that there was a multiple shooting, leaving four persons dead.
As this news is still developing the names of the victims have not yet been released. We only know at this time that one of the deceased was a businessman, two other men were also shot and injured in the same incident.
In other reports, our newsroom is told that Linstead police, in the parish of St Catherine is reporting that a man, a male student of the Bog Walk High School and a female, name, and age still unknown were gunned down.
The police are investigating the seven murders.
