” Selector Ninja ” Laid to Rest

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Selector Ninja ” Laid to Rest: In what can be described as a befitting farewell for a selector, was very evident on Sunday, October 29, 2017, when hundreds of Montegonians turned out in their numbers to pay respect to Everton Nicholson, more popularly known as Ninja.

Ninja, who was one of the top selectors, passed away on August 22, 2017. A memorial service was held at the Harrison Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday. Several of Montego Bay’s top DJ’s and selectors came out and gave their tributes, representing different musical organizations.

The Montego Bay Boys’ and Girls’ Club marching band provided entertainment and marched throughout the Catherine Hall area followed by the hearse. His body was laid to rest at the Hillview Memorial Gardens.
