Security Guard Who Attacked and Robbed Policeman of Service Pistol, to Appear in Court Today

Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew (McKoy’s News): A man who attacked, injured and robbed a police officer of his service pistol at the Cross Roads Police Station on Thursday, August 22, is booked to appear in the St Andrew Parish Court today.

He has been identified as Romaro Kevin Abrahams, of a St Andrew address.

Reports by the Cross Roads Police are that about 1:00 p.m., Abrahams came to the station to give a statement, and submit a medical report in a case of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

While at the station he reportedly attacked the officer and stole his service pistol, before fleeing the scene.

He was accosted and held during an operation carried out in Spanish Town two days later.
