Rusea’s High School Security Guard Shot to Death in Hanover

Hanover, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Security Guard Shot to Death: The Lucea Police in the parish of Hanover said they have now made a breakthrough into the identity of a man whose body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds on the premises of a popular guest house in Cousins Cove, Hanover on Tuesday morning, September 12.

The victim has been identified as 36-yr-old Gerald Bailey, otherwise called “Dilly”, a security guard who hails from St Mary but resides in Bamboo District and was employed to the Rusea’s High School.

Reports by the police are that, Bailey left his home in Bamboo District on Monday afternoon, he was supposed to relieve another security guard for the night shift. He did not turn up for work and several calls made to his cell phone went unanswered.

On Tuesday about 8:00 a.m. Bailey’s body was discovered at the front of the popular guest house in Cousins Cove with multiple gunshot wounds.

The security guard’s body was transported to the Noel Holmes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
