Security Guard Murdered in Negril

Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: One man is now dead and another admitted to hospital in serious condition after armed men attacked patrons at a shop in Negril, Westmoreland, on Thursday night of July 25th.

The deceased has been identified as Kymani Needham, 26-year-old security guard of Whitehall district also in Negril.
The identity of the other victim who is presently at hospital in serious but stable condition is being withheld.

Reports by the  Negril police are that about 11:40 p.m.on Wednesday, Needham and the other man were among a group of men at a shop in Whitehall.

Minutes later, a group of armed men entered the shop and opened fire on the group, hitting Needham and the other man to their upper bodies. The gunmen then made their escape in the area on foot.

The Negril police were summoned and upon arrival, both wounded men were transported to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital, where Needham was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in serious condition.
