Security Guard Attacked and Robbed Policeman of Service Pistol, Now Listed as Wanted

Latest Jamaica News, Kingston (Mckoy’s News): A man who attacked, injured and robbed a police officer of his service pistol at the Cross Roads Police Station on Thursday, August 22, has now been listed as wanted.

He has been identified as Romaro Kevin Abrahams, of a St Andrew address.

Reports by the Cross Roads Police are that about 1:00 p.m., Abrahams came to the station to give a statement, and submit a medical report in a case of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

While at the station he reportedly attacked the officer and stole his service pistol, before fleeing the scene.

He has since been asked to turn himself in to the nearest police station immediately.

Anyone who may be able to assist the police to locate him, is being asked to contact the Half-Way-Tree police at 876-926-8184, the Cross Roads police at 876-926-6657, Crime Stop at 311, the police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
