The University of the West Indies (UWI) at Mona, St Andrew has closed parts of its administrative offices for two days, following confirmation of a COVID-19 case there.

In a release, the UWI says it has closed its Annex and Senate buildings for 48 hours to facilitate deep cleaning, following notification Monday that a staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. The release said the staff member had not been at work since August 25.
