Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: As early as 5:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 29, dozens of residents from the community of Cascade and Pond Side in Hanover, launched out in search of a man, who beheaded another man in the community on Saturday, July 28.
Keniel Hall, 22-year-old unemployed of Rejoin district, died after the accused chopped off his head on Saturday.
Reports by the police are that, Hall left his home in Rejoin district on Saturday morning, to visit the accuse who resides in Cascade and who is also his very close friend.
On reaching the yard where the accused resides, he reportedly armed himself with a machete and attacked Hall.
The accused man used a machete to sever Hall’s head from his body. He then used a knife to cut away Hall’s tongue, remove his eyes and also his brain.
Shortly after 12:00 noon, neighbor stumbled upon the hideous act and raised an alarm. The accused man into a nearby hill and hid in bushes.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Hall’s headless body was seen lying in the yard underneath a tree. His head was discovered about three feet away, with the face skinned off and the eye and tongue removed.
The scene was processed, the body and head were later removed to hospital where Hall was pronounced dead.
Our news team also learned from community members that recently, the girlfriend of the accused man walked out on him and since then he has been going out of his mind.
It is also believed that he went out of his mind when he attacked Hall, who is a close friend and cut off his head.
Following the incident, the accused man ran from the yard into a nearby woodland overlooking the house and has since been in hiding.
