Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- SEARCH ON FOR ROBBERS INVOLVED IN MILLION DOLLAR HEIST: The Falmouth police in Trelawny say they are now searching corners of the parish for four men who are behind a million dollar highway robbery which occurred in a section of the parish on Saturday.
According to the Falmouth police about 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 7th, a 35-year-old Security Guard who hails from Rosemount in St. James was transporting cash amounting to over One Million dollars from a business place in Montego Bay to Falmouth in Trelawny, upon reaching a section of the Falmouth main road, four men who were traveling in two separate motor car blocked his path.
The armed robbers then held him at gunpoint and proceeded to rob him of the cash. They then escaped in both motor vehicles. The Falmouth police were alerted and upon arrival, several searches were carried out for the armed robbers but with little success.
The lawmen also indicated that they now have some strong leads and are expecting to make a breakthrough in the next few days.
