The internet went crazy earlier this year when American Popstar Normani was photographed enjoying the sunshine and weather in Jamaica. Normani has been a fast riser in the entertainment industry, and her sex appeal has not escaped fans and those who enjoy her vocals.
Last year she turned heads in an electrifying performance as part of Rihanna’s Savage Fenty launch. The performance featured Normani and a group of dancers dancing to Sean Paul’s Get Busy. That led to calls for a collab with Normani and Sean Paul. However, it doesn’t seem that either of the superstars has contemplated a collab yet.
Sean Paul seems to be taking the lead though in being open to a collab. In a retweet today, he replied, “SAME” to a tweet of a fan who posted Normani dancing at the Savage Fenty show saying: “still not over this”.
Hundreds of fans of both Sean Paul and Normani immediately chimed in, renewing calls for a collab. One fan said, “Give us Baby Boy 2.0,” referring to the hit single by Beyonce featuring Sean Paul that made it to Billboard’s Hot 100.
Another fan commented: “Now get in that studio and work together.”
Sean Paul is a Grammy-award winning artiste and has had many hit singles with some of the biggest names in the industry, including the likes of Busta Rhymes, Kelly Rowland, Nelly, Enrique Iglesias, and Rihanna among others.

Normani, on the other hand, is a relatively new face having been a member of Fifth Harmony before going solo. However, Normani’s Dancing with a Stranger with Sam Smith peaked at number 7 on Billboard Top 10. Love Lies also placed on top 10 and Motivation on Billboard’s hot 100.
Both Normani and Sean Paul have been consistent hitmakers, and a possible collaboration might just run the charts as fans hope.
