Jamaica Sports News, St Thomas: Seaforth Football Club are winners of the inaugural Serge St.Thomas Major League Football Championship.
The defending parish champions clinched the trophy and 200,000 dollars on Sunday, when they beat York United 3-2 on penalties, after a nil all scoreline.
The beaten finalist, who paraded their skills in the Eastern Confederation Super League earlier this year, were rewarded with 75,000 dollars.
In the playoff for third place, Baptiste alliance defeated Port Morant all stars 3-0.
11 teams participated in the competition, which was sponsored for the first time by Serge, to the tune of 3.1 million dollars.
