Jamaica Crime News, St James: The case against Jerome Dawson who was held with numerous electronic devices containing identity information of persons residing overseas, has been transferred to the St. James Circuit Court where he will face his trial.
Dawson, who is of a Flanker, St. James address, made a brief appearance before the St. James Parish Court on Tuesday.
During the sitting, presiding judge Kaysha Grant offered him bail in the sum of $400,000 with up to two sureties and instructed him to surrender his travel documents.
The matter is set for mention in the St. James Circuit Court on September 19.
Allegations are that sometime in 2015, the police carried out an operation and in the Flanker community and visited Dawson’s home.
During a search of the premises, numerous electronic devices containing information on persons residing overseas were found.
