Sandy River 8-a-side Football league down to the quarterfinals

Jamaica Sports News: The 8th season of the Sandy River 8-a-side football league, which got underway on Sunday April 15, with 16 teams, is now down to the quarterfinals.

This is scheduled to get underway on Sunday, with two matches at the Sandy River playfield.

Second place in group ‘A’ Reckford, will oppose Douglas Castle, who finished 3rd in group ‘B’, after which Pedro will go up against Gaza, in the St.Ann derby.

The other round of quarterfinal matches will be played on Sunday July 29 at the same venue, with the home team and defending champions Sandy River up against Crofts Hill united and Crawle River, who won the northern Clarendon champions league in March of this year, taking on Mason River.
