Jamaica News, Hanover: The Brownies Patch at the Sandy Bay Primary and Junior High School in Sandy Bay, Hanover were not outdone by contributing to the Labor Day activities, this after the small girls’ group created an impact in their community by beautifying the main street Bus Shed.

Monica Smart, the Brownies Pact leader told our news team that this year, she and her group of Brownies considered how they could create an impact in their community.

She further stated that they came out on the streets and after investigating, they decided to give the main Bus Shed in Sandy Bay a facelift.

The team which consists of relatively small girls took on the task of cleaning and painting the bus shed.

At length, they were commended by everyone in the community who were on hand to witness the transformation of the main shed at the car park and bus terminal.
