Dancehall artiste Rygin King has released a statement via social media following a shooting incident which left him hospitalised in critical condition last month.
The Artiste, today thanked his fans for their outpouring love and support. He also thanked the various hospital staff for their care as well as government officials for their assistance.
Rygin King is said to be “recuperating well” following another successful surgery performed by top flight surgeons in the Corporate Area.
The 25-year-old deejay was shot by unknown assailants in Westmoreland, and originally admitted to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital on June 28th.
He was airlifted a few days later to the Falmouth Hospital.
Since then, he has done numerous transfers to various medical facilities to aid in his recovery.
Rygin King rose to prominence in 2018 and is known for singles such as ‘Tough’, ‘Change’ and ‘Ruption’.
