Congrats Ruseas High 2017 DaCosta Cup Champion

St. James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) Ruseas High 2017 DaCosta Cup Champion: Rusea’s High School is celebrating their victory in the 2017 ISSA Flow DaCosta Cup Campionship match. They led the way to the winning title with a 2-1 victory over the favoured Clarendon College High School.

The Dacosta Cup final was held this Saturday Dec 2, at the Montego Bay Sports Complex, Catherine Hall.

Clarendon College dominated the first 45 minutes as Nique Daley, know for his powerful strikes placed them in lead position with a mouth opening goal in the first 36th minute – with many supporters out to cheer them on.

In the second half it was as if Rusea’s had changed team – the Blue and Gold team immediately bossed up, leveling the playing field in the 55th minute when Daniel Reid drove it EVEN in spectacular fashion!

Leonardo Fogarthy then struck the winning goal for Rusea’s in the 80th minute, giving the Hanover-based team their title as the crowning 2017 ISSA Flow DaCosta Cup Campions!

Elation filled the field! Coach Vassell Reynolds and his team had done it for the Western Parish!

Vassell  joined Rusea’s in March after leaving Wolmer’s Boys.
