Jamaica News: Jamaica long distance runner, 28-year-old Kemoy Campbell says he is now recuperating well, and walked for the first time yesterday.
Campbell who is being treated at a medical facility in the United States, after he reportedly collapsed while competing in the 3000 meters race, at the Melrose Games being held in New York, on Saturday, February 9, related to the public for the first time yesterday, Tuesday, February 12, and thanked all his fans, well wishers and sponsors who helped back on his feet.
Reports are that on Saturday, February 9, Campbell collapsed while competing in the long distance run and was rendered unconscious, on reaching the vicinity of the Shot Put area, on the track.
Police and Paramedics personnel rendered assistance to the super athlete, who was then rushed off to hospital.
The international long distance athlete says he expect to be back on his feet in no time.
