Rose Heights Man Shot in Montego Bay while Picking up Student from School

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Rose Heights Man Shot: A Rose Heights man who went to downtown Montego Bay to pick up his child on Tuesday afternoon is now battling for life in the Cornwall Regional Hospital when he was shot several times by two armed men.

Reports are that shortly after 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 14, the victim left his community and went to the Challenge Basic School on Water Lane in Montego Bay, to pick up his child.




While standing at the school door, he was approached from behind by men armed with handguns who had walked into the schoolyard, and shot him multiple times to his upper body.

The gunmen escaped in the area on foot, while the Barnett Street police were summoned and the wounded man was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was treated and admitted to the intensive care unit.
