The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said a man was shot and killed and a firearm containing several rounds of ammunition taken from his body on Knibb Street in Watt Town, St Ann, yesterday, November 30.

It further stated that it does not know who killed 23-year-old Romaine Moulton, otherwise called ‘Rumpy’, from Caledonia and Minard districts in the parish.

The JCF said: “Reports from the Watt Town Police are that about 1 pm, explosions were heard and the team summoned. On arrival of the lawmen, Moulton was seen lying on the roadway with several gunshot wounds.

“One 9 millimetre Browning pistol, with a magazine containing eleven 9 millimetre rounds of ammunition, was taken from his waistband while the scene was being processed. His body was removed to the morgue pending post-mortem examination,” added the JCF, which noted that investigations are continuing.
