Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew: Robber Fatally Shot An unidentified man was shot and killed, and a teenage boy was taken into custody, during a robbery incident which occurred at a premises along Studio One Boulevard, in St Andrew, on Thursday, July 11.

Reports by the Half Way Tree police are that about 12:20 a.m., a security team responded to a report of a robbery taking place at a premises in the area, and went to the location.

On reaching the area, they saw three men, one of whom fired at them. One of the security officers returned the fire, hitting the armed man.

One of the men ran and escaped in the area, while the teenage boy was accosted.

The police were summoned, and upon arrival, the unidentified man was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The teen was also handed over to them, along with an imitation firearm.
