Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Would-be robber escapes from firearm holder: A pillion rider who was travelling on a motorcycle on Monday at approximately 8:15 p.m., tried to rob a man along the Farm Pen main road in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland, when a tussle developed between both of them.

A licensed firearm holder observed the tussle and reportedly intervened, firing shots in the air.

As a result, the motorcyclist rode off, leaving the pillion rider, who the firearm holder held onto and who later escaped.

The pillion rider’s firearm along with the ammunition was handed over to the police.
