Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: A man who the police say is of German decent, was shot and killed by a lone gunman at his pregnant baby-mother’s house, in the community of Claremont in Hanover on Wednesday night, May 23.
The deceased has been identified as, Rishawn Lehmkuhl, 29-year-old unemployed of Haddington in Hopewell, Hanover.
Reports by the Lucea police are that about 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, Lehmkuhl went to visit his pregnant baby-mother in Claremont District. While at the house, he was in the process of taking a shower when a man dressed in a hoody kicked opened the front door of the house and brandished a handgun. The gunman opened fire hitting Lehmkuhl several times to his upper body.
The female ran from the house and the gunman made his escape in the area on foot, leaving the pregnant female and her five-year-old son unharmed.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds and lying in a pool of blood in the house.
He was transported to the Noel Holmes hospital in Lucea where he was pronounced dead.
