A 45-year-old higgler was shot and killed by gunmen, outside his shop at the Pearnel Charles Arcade in Kingston, on Saturday afternoon, November 3.

The deceased has been identified as Ricardo McDonald, otherwise called “Bobby” higgler of a Greenwich Farm address, Kingston 13.

Reports by the Central Police are that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, McDonald was standing outside a shop which he operated in the vicinity of the Pearnel Charles Arcade and Mark Lane, when he was approached by three men.

The men brandished handguns and opened fire hitting McDonald multiple times, before escaping in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
