Jamaica Crime News: Several residents residing within communities throughout Western Jamaica say they are now calling for the onslaught against our nation’s women to stop.

One businesswoman who gave her name as Cynthia Ruddock told our news team that over the past seven days various men across the island of Jamaica, have risen up and murdered several prominent females in our society.

Mrs Ruddock says she is now calling on these blood-thirsty men to cease the attack on women and female students.

These pleas have come in the wake of the murders of 72-year-old American national Nancy Hardy, whose body was found in a shallow grave in Fish River, Orange Bay, Hanover on Monday, November 25.

Hardy who resided at Whitehall in Negril, Westmoreland, went missing on Saturday, November 24.

Then Sunday of November 25 is considered to be a bloody day of painful remembrance for several family members both in Jamaica and abroad.

It started out with the murder of Amanda Napier,  otherwise called “Sammy Unique British” of Hendon, Norwood, in St. James.

Napier body was discovered floating in a river with her throat slashed, at the Errol Flynn Marina in Portland.

That very same Sunday afternoon, 15-year-old Tashai Munda, a female student who attended the St. Hugh High School and her mother, both lost their lives, after her mother’s spouse allegedly set fire to their home which is located along Race Course Road, in Salisbury Plain, St Andrew.

Tashai succumbed to her injuries at hospital on Wednesday afternoon, November 28, while her mother succumbed the following day on Thursday, November 29.

That same ill-fated  Sunday, of November 25, another helpless female, 44-year-old British Jamaican beautician Karen Cleary-Brown, who was vacationing at her property in Boscobel, St Mary, went missing.

Residents were sent into shock on Monday afternoon, December 3,  after  Cleary-Brown’s body was discovered in a shallow grave on a section of her property in St. Mary.

The latest female victim to be added to the pile of murders has been identified as 75-year-old, Ruthlyn Prendergast, a retiree of Homestead Road in  Kingston 2, was shot and killed while in her bed on last Sunday morning.
