St. Ann, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Renovated Facility at St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, New AmbulancePrime Minister Andrew Holness and Minister of Health Dr. Christopher Tufton were present at the St. Ann’s Bay hospital this week for a ceremony.

The Hospital was presented with a new ambulance and officially opened its expanded operating theatre at a cost of approximately $170 million provided by the National Health Fund and a renovated male surgical ward at a cost of US$139, 000 by the American Friends of Jamaica, while the ambulance was purchased at a cost of J$6.3 million by the Tankweld Group and was retrofitted in partnership with Guardian Life at a cost of J$2.3 million .

” We are elated about the renovations and expansion project having come to an end,” commented one patient. The hospital was also presented with a new ambulance.
