Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: Rejoin Man Beheaded – Community members in Cascade and Pond Side district in Hanover, have now joined forces with Detectives attached to the Hanover Police Division, in search of a man who beheaded another man in Cascade on Saturday, July 28.
The deceased has been identified as Keniel Hall, 22-year-old unemployed of Rejoin district.
Reports by the police are that, Hall left his home in Rejoin district on Saturday morning to visit the accused who resides in Cascade and who is also his very close friend.
On reaching the yard, the accused reportedly armed himself with a machete and attacked Hall.
The accused man used a machete to sever Hall’s head from his body. He then used a knife to cut away Hall’s tongue, remove his eyes and also his brain.
A neighbour stumbled upon the hideous act and raised an alarm. The accused man ran up a nearby hill and hid in bushes.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Hall’s headless body was seen lying in the yard underneath a tree. His head was discovered about three feet away, with the face skinned off and the eye and tongue removed.
The scene was processed, then the body and head later removed to the hospital where Hall was pronounced dead.
Our news team also learned from community members that, recently the girlfriend of the accused man walked out on him and since then he has been going out of his mind.
It is also believed that he went out of his mind when he attacked Hall, who is his best friend and cut off his head.
