Jamaica News, Clarendon: Our news team has learnt that international reggae artist, Barrington Levy, who was reportedly accidentally shot and injured on Tuesday night, May 29, is now back at home and recovering well.
Despite the Clarendon police indicating that they have no official report of the incident, our news team learnt from a source in the parish that Mr. Levy was accidentally shot on Tuesday night at a premises in James Hill, Clarendon.
It is unclear as to how the gunshot was actually fired, but it has been reported that it was an accidental shooting and that the bullet ricochet off a wall and pierced the skin on the artist’s back.
Following the incident, he was transported to a medical facility in Mandeville where he was treated and later released.
