Reggae Boyz beat Honduras 2-0 in World Cup qualifier

The Reggae Boyz registered their first win of the World Cup qualifying campaign for the Qatar 2022 Finals,  with a 2-0 victory over Honduras at the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium, in San Pedro Sula on Wednesday, night.

The Jamaicans now move up to seventh in the eight-team standings on five points.

Forward Kemar Roofe, in his fourth appearance for the national senior to put the Boyz in front in the 38th minute, and midfielder, Oniel Fisher completed the win in the 80th minute. Both men were getting their first goals at the international level.

In other results, the USA came from behind to beat Costa Rica 2-1 and Canada whipped Panama 4-1.
