Jamaica News, Portland: The EOJ is reporting that voting across the Constituency of East Portland, on Thursday, April 4, have kicked off much slower than anticipated, due to constant heavy rainfall.

Areas such as Fairy Hill and its surroundings, saw voters who had to be equipped with umbrellas, rolling out very slowly.

One outdoor agent told McKoy’s News that so far, what they are seen is a clear indication that the voting margin will be very low at the climax of Thursday afternoon.

Recently the death of PNP Member of Parliament, Dr. Lynvale Bloomfield, resulted in by-election between the Jamaica Labor Party representatives, Ann-Marie Vaz and the People’s National Party representative, Damion Crawford.
