The police have launched a manhunt for a pushcart vendor, who stabbed another pushcart vendor to death, during an altercation at the Charles Gordon Market in Montego Bay, St James, on Friday, October 29.
The deceased has been identified only as ‘Red Plate’ of Granville community, and the suspect as ‘Hog Head’.
Reports are that both men who operate from the Charles Gordon Market circle got involved in a dispute on Friday afternoon when “Hog Head” use a knife to stab ‘Red Plate’ in the regions of his chest.
The accused ran from the scene, and the wounded man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police are now carrying out a search for the alleged attacker.
