Jamaica Crime News, St James: Prosecutors are yet to complete the case file for two men who were reportedly caught in unlawful possession of an air compressor that was stolen from a Montego Bay business establishment.

Vaughn Davis and Omar Dennis, who have been charged with unlawful possession of property, appeared before the St. James Parish Court on Thursday.

During Monday’s court sitting, the prosecution told the court that they were awaiting the corroborating officer’s statement in order the complete the prosecution’s case file.

Presiding judge Sandria Wong-Small subsequently deferred the matter until June 13 and extended the men’s bails.

On March 8 this year, the two men were reportedly held by civilians after they were seen on a surveillance camera stealing items from Tropical Bliss in Montego Bay. They were in possession of a water pump and an air compressor, which were properties of another company.

They later led the police to where the other items were, which led to the recovery of those items.
