Property Watchman Murdered in Westmoreland

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Property Watchman Murdered: The Grange Hill Police in Westmoreland are currently investigating the shooting death of a Watchman who was employed to a property in the same area on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Reports are that about 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, 33-yr-old Dwayne Campbell and his girlfriend were at home in Grange Hill when a group of heavily armed men kicked open the door to their house. The gunmen first held both Campbell and his girlfriend at gunpoint, then later opened fire hitting the watchman multiple times all over his body.

The gunmen then left the house, but while making their escape they attempted to blow up the house with a Molotov Cocktail bomb. The fuse went out so the bomb did not explode. The victim’s girlfriend who was not harmed raised an alarm and the Grange Hill Police were called to the location.

On arrival, the bomb was retrieved and the victim transported to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
