The Trelawny police say they have launched a manhunt for a prisoner who escaped custody, at the Trelawny Family Court, on Thursday, February 25.
The escapee has been identified as Howard Frazer, a taxi operator of Zion community, in Martha Brae, Trelawny.
Reports from the Trelawny police are that about 2:15 pm, Frazer who was being held at the Trelawny Family Court lock-up on charges of Breaches of Protection Order, escaped while awaiting trial.
The police have sinced launched a manhunt for him, and are asking any members of the public with information to contact the Falmouth Criminal Investigation Bureau at 876-954-3073, Police emergency 119, Crime Stop 311, or the nearest police station.
The police are also reminding members of the public that Harbouring a Criminal is a criminal offence.
