Meghan Markle Royal Baby Boy -On this day Monday, May 6, 2019, Meghan Markle has given birth to her first royal baby boy, with Prince Harry! The little bundle of joy is said to have weighed seven pounds and three ounces.
According to a statement from Buckingham Palace “Meghan went into labor in the early hours of this morning.” Prince Harry was by her side during the delivery. The birth was announced on Instagram, however, a name for baby has not yet been revealed.
It was announced from Buckingham Palace that Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, is with family at their home of Frogmore Cottage.
Prince Harry also announced the birth himself for the press. He appeared in front of horse stables on the Windsor, U.K., property to share his happiness: “I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and Myself have a baby boy, early this morning, a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing extremely well. Its been the most amazing experience you could ever possibly Imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but were both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there, so just wanna share this with everybody.”
The royal family line will extend a bit further with the arrival of the couple’s baby. Presently, Queen Elizabeth is the monarch, followed by Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and new father Prince Harry. The unnamed baby is now seventh in line for the throne, pushing Prince Andrew down a spot.
On May 19, the couple will be celebrating another joyous occasion, their royal wedding anniversary.
