Prime Suspect in Recent Double Murder, Arrested in Trelawny

Jamaica Crime News, Trelawny: The Trelawny police have now confirmed that, they have arrested the main suspect, who was being sought in connection with the recent double murder, of a taxi operator and his common-law wife in Kinloss district, Trelawny, on Thursday, March 28.

Detectives say the suspect was being sought for the murder of 52-year-old Robert Gardner, and his common-law wife 50-year-old Marcia Thomas, housewife.

Reports by the Clarkes Town police are that, about 10:00 p.m on Thursday, March 28, the taxi operator and his common-law wife were at their home in Kinloss district, when armed men kicked open the door and questioned them about the whereabouts of a younger male family member.

When the couple could not provide them with informations to the whereabouts of the man, they were both shot to death.
