Montego Bay, Jamaica ( McKoy’s News) – Murdered Cornwall College Student: Our news team has learnt that a Postmortem examination will be carried out today Thursday, January 25th on the body of the 16-year-old Cornwall College student who was shot and killed by gunmen at Meadows of Irwin in early January.
The examination will be carried out at the Doyley’s Funeral home in Westmoreland.
The Freeport police have also reported that the two suspects who were taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of the student who is also the stepson of a police Corporal still remain in lockup.
According to investigators, they are still carrying out investigations into the death of the teenage boy and both suspects are still been interrogated.
Reports are that about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9th, the Police Corporal drove his motor vehicle to a section of Irwin Meadows to pick up his 16-year-old stepson Marc Williams who was attending a Bible study meeting in the area.
Marc was just about to enter the vehicle when several men armed with guns opened fire on the vehicle hitting the boy. The police Corporal returned the fire on the men who fled the scene on foot.
The officer then rushed the wounded boy to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he died whilst being treated.
The investigators further stated that they will not rest until they have brought those responsible to justice.
