The police have identified a man that was stabbed to death at his home in the Long Road, Portland on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old bus driver Horace Mcfarlane otherwise called ‘Froggie’.
Police reports are that at about 2:20 p.m. neighbours found Mcfarlane on his veranda. The police were alerted and upon their arrival, he was seen lying facedown in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds.
The scene was processed. Mcfarlane was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The body was removed to the morgue.
The Portland police are investigating.
